Beyond their aesthetic value, they embody a significant part of the region's folklore culture, collective beliefs, and ethnic identity. Although numerous studies have examined the technical and decorative characteristics of kilims, the relationship between the visual structure of their motifs and the components of folklore culture has received limited analytical attention. Accordingly, the present study investigates how folklore culture is reflected in the visual structure of the motifs found in Bijar Kurdish kilims.The primary objective of this research is to analyze the visual characteristics of these motifs and to explain their relationship with the beliefs, rituals, and folk traditions of the people of Kurdistan. The main research question is: How does the visual structure of the motifs in Bijar Kurdish kilims represent the concepts and components of folklore culture? This study adopts a qualitative approach using a descriptive–analytical research method. Data were collected through library research, documentary sources, ethnographic literature, and the examination of selected samples of Bijar kilims. The findings indicate that the visual elements of the motifs—including geometric forms, rhythm, repetition, color, symmetry, and composition—serve not merely decorative purposes but also reflect concepts rooted in folklore culture, traditional lifestyles, ritual beliefs, and the cultural memory of the Kurdish community. Consequently, the visual structure of Bijar kilims can be regarded as a coherent system of cultural signs that preserves indigenous identity while offering considerable potential for reinterpretation and application in contemporary visual arts and visual design. چکیده گلیم های بیجار کردستان از برجسته ترین جلوه های هنر بومی ایران به شمار می روند که افزون بر ارزش های زیباشناختی، حامل بخش مهمی از فرهنگ فولکلور، باورهای جمعی و هویت قومی مردم این منطقه هستند. با وجود پژوهش های متعدد درباره ویژگی های فنی و تزئینی گلیم، ارتباط میان ساختار بصری نقش مایه ها و مؤلفه های فرهنگ فولکلور کمتر به صورت تحلیلی مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. ازاین رو، مسئله اصلی پژوهش حاضر بررسی چگونگی بازتاب مفاهیم فولکلور در ساختار بصری نقش مایه های گلیم بیجار کردستان است. هدف پژوهش، تحلیل ویژگی های بصری نقش مایه ها و تبیین نسبت آن ها با باورها، آیین ها و فرهنگ عامه مردم کردستان است. پرسش اصلی پژوهش این است که ساختار بصری نقش مایه های گلیم بیجار کردستان چگونه مفاهیم فولکلور را بازنمایی می کند؟ این پژوهش با رویکردی توصیفی–تحلیلی و به شیوه کیفی انجام شده است. گردآوری داده ها نیز با استفاده از مطالعات کتابخانه ای، اسناد مکتوب و بررسی نمونه های منتخب نقوش گلیم بیجار صورت گرفته است. یافته های پژوهش نشان می دهد که عناصر بصری نقش مایه ها، از جمله هندسه نقوش، ریتم، تکرار، رنگ، تقارن و ترکیب بندی، صرفاً جنبه تزئینی نداشته، بلکه بازتاب دهنده مفاهیم برخاسته از فرهنگ فولکلور، چون قدرت و پایداری، تداوم حیات و باروری، آزادی و امید و مفاهیمی چون حفاظت، نظم و تداوم فرهنگی در جامعه بختیاری هستند. https://jam.apadana.ac.ir/downloadfilepdf/336752
